When I became aware of my own excessive plastic usage, I felt completely alone. I knew nothing about environmental issues, nor did I know any activists. Once I decided to start sharing my thoughts publicly, I fully expected to receive hate from self-entitled consumers who would fight for their right to plastic packaging.
